Retail project for Montres Prestige at the Grand Hotel Kempinski in Geneva. Luxury jewellery and watchmaking boutiques may well be the most complex and demanding retail environments for designers. Our experience in this field allowed us to take in charge the renovation of one of the most exclusive and luxurious locations along the Geneva lake. The boutique had to be fully surrounded by full-height bullet-proof highly transparent glass and protected by top of the line cameras and movement detectors as well as closed by penitentiary-class security doors. The lighting had to be specifically designed to cope with the intense natural light. A control system allows to adapt the lighting to the changing luminosity from day to night in order to have a perfect perception of the products’ colors and details whatever the outside conditions. In this tight technical frame the studio designed a sophisticated and harmonious angular landscape allowing for an exciting discovering experience.
